Entangling Neutral Atoms in Optical Lattices

Abstract: Neutral atoms in optical lattices offer promising possibilities for the generation of large scale entanglement, especially useful to mearuement based QC. We will report on state of the art experimental techniques to create such entanglement and furthermore outline novel ways to create highly entangled states in decoherence free subspaces.
